What’s the impressive celebration all about you might wonder? All the motivational speeches, exhibits, dynamic cultural performances, testimonials, motorbike parades, and fireworks! An impressive 15,000 networkers from all over Indonesia came to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Amoeba Team, a leading team in Indonesia, on the 21st of December 2011 at the Jogja Expo Centre, Yogyakarta. The Bima Hall was packed with people crowding to participate in this one-day celebration. For this special occasion, QNET opened a booth showcasing a selection of our best-selling products as well as promoting our exciting sponsorship of the Formula 1 Marussia Virgin Racing Team. The QNET booth attracted many curious IRs and was packed from morning till late night! It was clear that the overall event was a jubilant success!
Other than the Amoeba top leaders, VP Sathi Senathirajah and VC Rosli Ismail from Singapore passionately shared with the enthusiastic audience their extensive experience in network marketing.
One of numerous impressive moments during the programme was the ‘Gunungan’ silent procession led by top Amoeba leaders and their spouses. The procession started from outside the Hall, into the stage, and ended with a rice-cone cutting to mark the start of official celebration. Gunungan is usually found in the Garebeg ceremonies held by the Royal Palaces of Yogyakarta and Surakarta. Instructed by their respective Kings (The Sultan of Jogjakarta or The Sunan of Surakarta), the Palaces make traditional Gunungan offerings i.e an offering in the form of a mountain. These offerings are considered prayers to Allah – to pray for the safety and welfare of the the Kingdom and the people.
QNET Executive Chairperson Ms Donna Imson delivered a memorable speech on female empowerment –women have as much potential to succeed as men, to juggle between home-life and business, and the importance of how a strong synergy between the two genders can lead to success, both in a personal and business capacity. Her speech received special cheers by the women in the audience.
V Managing Director Pathman Senathirajah ended the programme with his strong motivational speech in Bahasa Indonesia which was greeted with enthusiasm from the high-spirited networkers, all the while yelling the familiar: “Aaaa-moooeee-baaaa!”
Congratulations! Ora umum!
