The AFC Champions League is getting more intense by the minute… and now it’s time for the Semi-Finals.

Semi-Final Fever is spreading today (5 October) at the King Fahd International Stadium, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where host Al Shabab gets ready to face South Korea’s Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma in what is the first match of the nail-biting Semi-Finals!

The battle between the Asian East and West divisions becomes more intense tonight as both teams do their best to secure their place in the Finals and reach the ultimate goal of being lauded the champion of champions in the AFC Champions League!

QNet IRs will be out in full orange-power force at the match at the Stadium, in what is becoming a familiar and popular sight of field-side QNet IRs in orange shirts waving orange flags as they experience the real adrenaline in the pitch. If you’re a football fan and happen to be in the region, we hope to see you there! The match starts at 8:00pm (local time).

And don’t forget – there are more exciting matches coming for the Semi-Final stage!

Two teams from the West division, Iran’s Zob Ahan and Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal, meet tomorrow, 6 October, at the Foolad Shahr Stadium, Esfahan, at 5:00pm (local time). The giant killer, Zob Ahan – who once defeated two-time winners Al Ittihad (Saudi Arabia) and defending champions Pohang Steelers (South Korea) – will play against one of the most successful Asian teams, Al Hilal. The pitch will surely be on fire as the match begins!

The second leg of the Semi-Finals will be on 20 October. Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma will open their Tancheon Sports Complex to welcome Al Shabab, while Al Hilal will play at the King Fahd International Stadium against Zob Ahan. This will be the last chance for the teams to fight for a place in the coveted Finals. You wouldn’t want to miss these matches!
