The energy level in the stadium was sky-high as our 10,000 IRs eagerly awaited the opening night ceremony, making this the biggest V-Con in QNet history!
Things kicked off with the Chief, Mr Pathman Senathirajah’s witty and engaging speech on The V’s code of conduct, reminding IRs that they were all “brothers and sisters” with a common purpose.
“I want you to be here for the right reason: because you need to learn, feel, and understand much more to become a great networker.” The crowd agreed with a hearty response, “The V, The V, The V — belief!”
Next up on stage was VPartner Mr Kuna Senathirajah, followed by a host of exciting cultural performances, featuring Malay, Indian and Chinese dances including a dazzling lion dance. The entertainment finished with a bang –- literally -– as a spectacular fireworks display lit up the stadium and the new V logo was unveiled!
The crowd cheered on as the parade of nations began, with participants carrying flags to represent the different nations at V-Con.
Then came the moment we’d all been waiting for… the one and only venerable Dato’ Vijay Eswaran, Founding VPartner, took centrestage!
His amazing “Welcome Home” speech was filled with wise sayings that we will surely remember for countless V-Cons to come! One of our favourites is: “Belief makes you bold, belief makes you brave, belief makes you the best that you can be.” Check out our Twitter feed to see more!
What’s more, Founding VPartner Mr Joseph Bismark made an appearance to recount the tale of how he got his start in Network Marketing. For the grand finale, ALL the remaining VPartners — Ms Donna Imson, Mr TG Kintanar, Mr Sathi Senathirajah, Mr Ranjit Singh, Mr Arun George, Mr Adly Hassan — got on stage to answer questions from our dedicated IRs.
