The stakes were high in Qatar’s capital city on the evening of 28 September 2011. On the football front, as we already reported, Qatar’s Al Sadd played against Iran’s Foolad Sepahan in the second leg of the 2011 AFC Champions League (ACL) Quarter Finals at the Sheikh Jassim Bin Hammad Stadium. While on the networking front, our local IRs had a new fantastic opportunity to not only enjoy an evening of high-level football with their peers and family, but also –business is business – managed to conquer new prospects at the specially-catered QNet booth  located right in front of the stadium’s main entrance.

Many thanks to the dedicated In-Service Team deployed, as an amazing QNet booth was set up for showcasing some of the newest and most coveted QNet products in eye-catching backdrops and a beautiful display cabinet. The crowd of IRs and fans who started arriving about an hour before quick off time were welcomed at the QNet booth by the In-Service team and QNet representatives. Exclusive QNet ACL T-shirts were distributed to registered IRs, whereas everyone stopping by the booth was offered branded ‘cheer sticks’, informative flyers. Moreover, volunteers who were completing the company’s event satisfaction survey received special branded gifts as tokens. At the QNet booth, IRs, fans and prospects-alike all continuously enjoyed mingling and exchanging information with each other. Back in the gamefront, local team Al Sadd won 4-2 on aggregate to get one step closer to the Asian Club Champion title. They will meet with Korean club Suwon Samsung Bluewings in Leg 1 of the Semi-Finals round in Suwon on Wednesday, 19 October 2011.
