DSAS 35th Anniversary Dinner First Prize Sponsored by QNET
QNET sponsored the top prize for the lucky draw at the DSAS dinner, an all-expenses paid trip to Bali.

Having established itself as one of the leading direct selling companies across the world, QNET also strives to go local to be closer to its Independent Representatives.

On 30th September this year, QNET participated in two major events in Singapore. As a member of the Direct Selling Association of Singapore (DSAS) and with our very own Mr Zaheer Merchant, QI’s Director of Corporate Affairs, sitting on its Board as an Honourary Treasurer, QNET was one of the companies present at the DSAS 35th Anniversary Gala Dinner.

For the event, QNET helped design the official door gift –a commemorative anniversary book detailing the DSAS’s work thus far. The memorable dinner served as a reminder of how far the direct selling industry has come in Singapore – from being unregulated to one that’s respected, profitable, and contributes to the local economy.

The night also recognised the efforts of Mr Benjamin Tan, ex-Chairman and one of the founding members of the DSAS. His award was especially pertinent to QNET, as for the past two years, Mr Tan has been a consultant to our office in Singapore, guiding it with his expertise and over 20-year experience in the direct selling industry.

Earlier in the month, QNET was also one of three major sponsors in the 40th anniversary gala dinner of the Consumer Association of Singapore (CASE). Through its sponsorship, QNET enjoyed optimum branding at the event, with its logo prominently displayed on the stage backdrop, table tops, and screens around the venue.

Mr Zaheer Merchant was one of the VIP guests for the event. Sitting at the same table as him was the Guest of Honour, Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr Lim Hng Kiang (far left).

Mr Merchant, along with other sponsors, NTUC and the Dairy Farm Group, both established names in the food and beverage, as well as retail industries were privileged to be seated with the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Lim Hng Kiang, who graced the event as its Guest of Honour.

CASE and DSAS work side-by-side in implementing various initiatives aimed at raising Singaporeans’ awareness of their consumer rights and promoting an ethical marketplace.

In his speech, Minister Lim lauded CASE’s efforts on promoting an ethical marketplace and commended the various organisations present for their part in building a consumer-friendly environment.

QNET has come a long way in establishing itself as a legitimate and consumer-centric organisation, and its participation in key industry events like these seeks to affirm that.
