‘La Pista Magica’! Formula 1 arrives in the magical Monza circuit, Italy!
Ciao Italia! From one iconic racing landmark to another, this weekend sees Formula 1 racing arriving on the legendary Autodromo di Monza circuit in Italy. Considered as one of the most historic tracks in Formula 1, Monza truly brings its own magical rhythm to the race. Holding the title as the very embodiment of F1 racing, Monza is famous for a deep list of spectacular victories and horrifying crashes; the track certainly whispers a lifetime of world-class racing history.
A supreme race ground originating back to 1922, Monza is a driver’s high-speed dream with its long straights and limited corners shaping the ground of the picturesque Northern Italian city. With its banked oval shaped design, be ready to be wowed by some nail biting action on the asphalt this weekend!
The Gran Premio Santander d’Italia 2012 action kicks off at the official race practice on Friday 7 September, followed by the Qualifying on Saturday 8 September, before the final race on Sunday 9 September.
