With the 2013 Formula 1™ season about to kick off again this weekend in KL, Malaysia, the Marussia F1 Team thought they would take some time out of their busy racing schedules to visit the kids and staff of the Taarana School in Taman OUG, Kuala Lumpur.
With an early start to the day, the official drivers for the Marussia F1 Team, Max Chilton and Jules Bianchi, met with their adoring young fans, treating them to a morning of fun and sports. Max and Jules were invited to a tour of the school’s classrooms, before being challenged to a remote control car race with selected children, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the kids and everyone at the scene.
All at Taarana, a Vijayaratnam Foundation school for children with learning difficulties, were over the moon, excited and happy to meet with their favourite Formula 1™ Team drivers and members. The event was a huge success, and the Marussia F1 Team were thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to the Malaysian community in their own way.
