Do you remember last September at V-Indonesia 2012 Chief Pathman Senathirajah launched The PITCH!, a contest by QNET?
Open to all Independent Representatives (IRs), the objective of The PITCH! contest is to encourage IRs to collaborate with QNET not only for business building but also to make a difference in the community. Contestants were encouraged to pitch an idea on how to make a difference in his or her community/town for a chance to win a grant of US$10,000 from QNET to implement the idea.
And now QNET is happy to announce that after receiving amazing ideas from all over the world, 6 projects were shortlisted and a final 3 have been selected as the winning PITCH! ideas!
Each winning project receives a grant of US$10,000 from QNET under the QNET pays FORWARD initiative and implemented by RYTHM Foundation.
Let’s meet the lucky winners, discover their winning PITCH ideas, and congratulate them on a job well done!
- From Uganda, Emmanuel Emodek pitched the idea for NGO Pay It Forward Foundation Uganda to launch the Shiri Skills With A Mission, a foundation that will provide vocational training in bike mechanics, sports, and other skills for underprivileged children who can gain valuable life skills to better their lives.
- From Egypt, Shaimaa Amir Ahmed Ali pitched the idea for the Resala Charity Organisation to open the Resala Organization Center for Teaching and Qualifying Mentally Handicapped, which is a school focused on providing education and skills for disabled children.
- From India, Sangeeta Motupalli pitched the idea for the Li’ll Hearts Educational Society learning centre to build 6 to 8 new classrooms and a new computer lab, and also upgrade facilities such as the library to provide basic academic and holistic education for underprivileged children.
