No sooner have we finished cleaning up from last weekend’s 15th Anniversary celebration in Malaysia and already there are touching hearts activities sprouting all over the world as QNET gets straight down to the business of reaching out to a billion hearts.
QNET staff in Jakarta took students from two elementary schools to the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (Beautiful Indonesia in Miniature Park) last Sunday. Students from Karet Kuningan, Setiabudi, were super excited to visit the Park’s Science & Technology Centre.
Full of curiosity, students ran from one show to another, touching the interactive displays. Students found some of the exhibits particularly fascinating such as the earthquake simulation, tsunami model and water rocket.
Other visitors laughed as the students marched in line singing “Make way, make way, QNET coming through… Don’t stand in our way.”
Yesterday, QNET’s Bangkok based Marketing Team pulled on their Billion Hearts T-Shirts and headed to Siam Ocean World with 30 girls from the Rajvithi Home for Girls.
Thanks to Ocean World who provided a reduced ticket price, QNET was able to take the girls for an educational and fun experience.
All the girls, many disconnected from their families, had never had the opportunity to visit Ocean World before and had a fantastic time among the sharks, stingrays, penguins and countless animals from the sea.

Khaled Diab, Regional General Manager of QNET based in Dubai, said that the five Home Pure units, one of QNET’s most renowned and successful products, would be installed in an accommodation block and would serve about 2000 residents.
The Philippines is hit by about forty typhoons and earthquakes annually, making it the most vulnerable in Southeast Asia. QNET touched 120 hearts at the Sagad High School yesterday through a highly informative, interactive session on disaster preparedness. Students learned how to make a flotation device out of a pair of jeans and many other handy tips.
