Mr Bakary Kante, Director of United Nations Environment Programme’s Division of Environmental Law and Conventions, led the group of QNET Independent Representatives in distributing goods among residents of a village in Mali

In solidarity with the Muslim people of West Africa in the observance of the holy month of Ramadan, QNET in the spirit of its corporate philosophy of RYTHM (Raise Yourself to Help Mankind), donated food items to the women, children, the elderly and people with disabilities of selected villages in the countries of Ivory Coast, Mali and Niger.

Ramadan is a very busy time for QNET staff, business partners, and leaders who have been working hard to reach out and provide food to the people who need it most in the three nations.

QNET Independent Representatives went to the recipients’ homes in organised groups in various locations to hand out the well-received and well-appreciated assistance.

Undoubtedly, Ramadan reminds us of our shared responsibility to treat others as we wish to be treated, and the basic principles that bind people of different faiths together.
