Manchester City Prepares To Take On Arsenal In Thrilling FA Cup Semi-Final
Our boys have made it very clear that they have winning on their mind by qualifying for the FA Cup semi-final after a long and exciting football season. Manchester City is all set to take on football giants Arsenal in the world’s oldest cup competition. This season is Pep Guardiola’s debut season as manager and we are rooting for his victory, along with the victory of our favourite team, Manchester City.
This season’s competition has seen its fair share of surprise results, but the Sky Blues have fought their way through to a semi-final showdown. The big match will take place at Wembley Stadium on 23 April, Sunday, so make sure you clear your calendars. Manchester City will hope to continue a sparkling run of form that has seen them beat three English Premier League (EPL) rivals and score a spectacular 15 goals on their way to this stage.
We are pinning our hopes on Sergio Aguero, who has given us four unforgettable goals this season to play on repeat, and on David Silva who scored in the quarter-final victory against Middlesbrough. We’re also crossing our fingers for Guardiola’s Midas touch to come into play. He has seen numerous cup competition victories in his managerial career and we hope that with him as coach, we can lift the FA Cup championship cup come May.
Don’t forget to catch Manchester City in action at their EPL run continues on April 2, where they face off against Arsenal, a dress rehearsal of sorts for the thrilling FA cup tie. Show your support by cheering them on, wearing your #QNETCity Watch and sharing your match-viewing photos on the QNET Facebook page.
