Finding out about QNET and its business opportunity was the light bulb moment V Council Member Zhupar Alimova was waiting for all her life. She quickly took it upon herself to learn everything about the business, and there was no looking back. She made it past every ‘No’ and every hurdle thrown her way to be where she is today. And her journey has just begun.
What did you see for yourself when you joined as a QNET IR?
When I saw QNET’s Compensation Plan, I had a vision, a picture of my future life! Financially, my family and I were really struggling at the time, so I wanted to change all of that. I knew it wouldn’t be easy, but I had a strong feeling that I could do it, that I had to do it. And all my expectations were fully met! I am very happy to be in QNET and to expand our business. It has totally improved my life and my family’s, and has given us what we could only dream about before.
The journey of an entrepreneur is anything but easy; what was your journey like?
The most difficult part for me was to go through rejections in the beginning. To hear the word “NO” from my own relatives and friends; people laughed at me and thought my plan was ridiculous. I went through so many, and I tried to not take it personally.
Looking back now, I’m glad they didn’t believe me. It made me stronger! The first joy was getting that first cheque; that was a happy moment because I proved to myself that I could do it. I’ve come a long way since then, but that will always be my proudest moment – when I decided to not give up.
What excites you about the direct selling industry?
What attracts me the most about direct selling is that the potential of growth seems endless. In your work, if things stay the same for too long, you get bored! Hard work pays off, but after that rewarding moment, you stop and think, “What’s next?”
I feel lucky that in this business, every day is about the ‘next thing’. It is about meeting different people, looking for opportunities and acting on it. That’s exciting for me.
But what about the people that leave or give up? When that happens with your downlines, how does that make you feel?
This industry has taught me a lot about noticing things in people. To move up the ranks and grow your business, you have to be hungry for it. Some people just want it more than others, and I can’t blame those who leave, as long as they’ve tried their best. Maybe this just isn’t for them. For me, I enjoy the work and leading those who want to come onboard.
What is a common trait that you see among successful people in QNET?
Successful people have goals that they want to achieve. They devote so much time and energy to what they believe in. It is very important to know what you want in life, and to stop at nothing to get it. When it comes to direct selling, you meet so many different people from different places; the one thing we all must share, is the vision.
At QNET, we share the vision of helping others succeed. Sharing that mindset makes us all succeed together.
Could you share with us some of your goals for the future? What are you looking forward to?
I have big plans for the future! I want to grow my QNET business in at least 15 countries. I want to build strong distributors who love what they do, and constantly work towards empowering others to do the same. And of course, I want to one day become V Partner Zhupar from Kazakhstan.
Lastly, what advice would you give to someone starting out in this industry?
My main advice to those who have just started is to have faith in yourself. Be persistent. Don’t be afraid to have your own opinion. Once you trust yourself and prove that you can do it, you’ll have the confidence to lead others to do the same.
