The 2019 Sports Industry Awards Asia presented QNET with a bronze award for its partnership with the Manchester City Football Club. QNET won under the category of Best Sponsorship of a Sport, Team, Individual, or Event in Asia. The Sports Industry Awards Asia (SPIA) is a recognised regional awards-giving body, and is now seen as one of the most credible awards platforms with a focus on recognising the achievements of the Asian Sports Industry.

QNET was one of the 400 submissions spread across 21 award categories from 47 eligible countries. How brilliant is that?

QNET and Manchester City first partnered in 2014. Like sports, direct selling requires teamwork, open-mindedness, coachability, drive, and a hunger for success, and our partnership is a celebration of that. Together, we continue to share a passion for the team, football, and our fans. We even became the first sleeve partner of the Manchester City Women’s Team in the FA Women’s Super League in 2018.

As part of the award-winning partnership, QNET and Manchester City Football Club teamed up for player appearances, special contests, and viewing parties. As a company that looks to growth, we co-hosted special training programmes around Indonesia in partnership with Manchester City. And for the past two years, we have helped raise budding talent among disadvantaged and underprivileged players through Manchester City Football Club’s Football and Language School programme.

QNET was bestowed with the award at the Sports Industry Awards Asia black-tie awards gala, held in Manila, the Philippines concurrent to the opening of the 30th Southeast Asian Games, a perfect setting for us to receive such an honour.

But as any sports fan knows, the SPIA award is only the beginning. This prestigious recognition by the SPIA is a push for QNET to continue to strengthen our partnership with Manchester City and our fans, and bring out even more of our core values from a shared love of play.

Now that QNET’s taken home the bronze, we have set our gaze on the Gold award. Look out for even more special events and programmes designed by QNET and Manchester City Football Club. For now, celebrate with us!
