QNET Indonesia hosted an essential Covid-19 Vaccination Drive, in response to the growing health crisis caused by the global pandemic. Over 1,400 residents of Kelurahan Grogol Utara Kecamatan Kebayoran Lama in South Jakarta received their vaccinations over two days thanks to QNET Indonesia and Kolaborasi Indonesia. The Covid-19 vaccination drive was open to all residents of the North Grogol subdistrict with an aim of 1,000 residents vaccinated. We are ecstatic to have vaccinated more than our initial aim.
The vaccination drive was hosted in partnership with Kolaborasi Indonesia. We were able to provide two types of vaccines – the Sinovac dose two and Astra Zeneca dose one. Wa Ode Nurhayati from Kolaborasi Indonesia said, “The enthusiasm of the residents to get their vaccines shows that the community is ready to combat Covid-19, and get back to their normal lives. Kolaborasi Indonesia helped with the technical rollout of the vaccinations. The residents who were vaccinated also had the opportunity to win a lucky draw prize provided by QNET.”
“It is very important to vaccinate as many people as possible against Covid-19 so that we contribute towards herd immunity in the country. QNET Indonesia has always been involved in charity activities that make a difference in the communities we work in. So, this project is exactly in line with us Raising Yourself To Help Mankind. We have worked together with local governments officials, health agencies, the TNI and of course, with local non-profit organisations,” said General Manager of QNET Indonesia Ganang Rindarko.
The vaccination drive was conducted in a covid-safe way while maintaining safe distance measures. Local authorities helped manage the registrations, date input as well as providing vaccination certificates.
Our QNET Indonesia activity is just one of the several relief projects we have carried on worldwide from the start of the pandemic. We hope to continue to be involved in projects as the situation evolves.
