“Hot on the heels of Moscow City Racing we arrive in Hungary in pretty good shape. Both of our drivers are hoping for a good result in the last Grand Prix before the August break. The weather is forecast to be very hot so it will be a challenging week for Team and driver” says Marussia CEO, Andy Webb.
The Hungaroring is a motor-racing circuit in Mogyoród, near Budapest. The city became a single entity occupying both banks of the river Danube in 1873. The west-bank is known as Buda or Óbuda and the east-bank is called Pest, hence the name Budapest. The history of the city began with Aquincum, originally a Celtic settlement that became the Roman capital of Lower Pannonia. Hungarians arrived in the territory in the 9th century.
