Artur Koshelev is one of the most successful QNET Independent Representatives in Kyrgyzstan. This is his story!

In my QNET journey, I realised a strange thing – people tend to evaluate the reliability of the company you’re representing by your past, your background, your education and your areas of expertise. That is why today, I decided to talk a little about myself hoping that my story will inspire many more success stories. Truth is, I come from a very ordinary background but that didn’t stop me from finding success in direct selling and achieving my dreams.

I was born in 1990 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. I was an above average student. I was interested in many kinds of sports but I did not know what I wanted to do in life. After finishing high school, I decided to study in the Faculty of Economics at the Polytechnic Institute of Razzakova. Today, I do not regret that decision simply because one needs to know basic economics to be a good businessman.

While studying, I started selling household appliances and reading a book of Robert Kiyosaki entitled ‘The Business School (For People Who Like Helping People)’ which inspired me to further hone the budding entrepreneur in me so I could create a business of my own. One day, a classmate invited me to a QNET business presentation. I eventually joined the business, putting myself in a state of confused excitement where I kept asking myself, “What did I do? Is this the beginning of a long journey?”

When I started, I was very disorganised due to my lack of experience. My ego and vanity made me very upset each time I faced a rejection. There was even a time when I wanted to achieve my goals at all costs, even if it meant doing something wrong or unethical. Good thing, my mentor VC Doniyor Aminov was always there for me, giving me timely tips and really guiding me into the right direction until I reached my turning point.

After having conquered all my troubles and difficulties, I think my greatest achievement was winning over my arrogant self and improving my character. I changed my bad habits and became more open minded through which I was able to progress further. I became a good problem solver by treating ‘problems’ as just ‘tasks’ that challenge me to make decisions and take actions, of course, with the help of the Almighty.

Before QNET, I knew what I wanted in life but I could not afford to have them. Now that I’m with QNET, I’m able to buy everything that I ever wanted before but, it still amazes me to think that I’ve reached the level where I can buy my own car and change it whenever I want. I even bought a property for my parents. And this is just the beginning of the many things that I can and will accomplish.

Looking back, my decision to start the business was not an easy one but now, I have nothing but gratefulness towards QNET as it has completely changed my life and made me discover my strengths for my own sake and for the sake of my family, friends and business partners. Now, I have a large team scattered in different cities in Russia and it’s growing everyday. And I hope that someday you can be part of my team!

The main rule that I learned from QNET is that a successful leader understands how important his/her team is. I work with great people and I always remind them of our massive potential as a team. We are constantly in touch – we hold weekly activities and call each other up on a daily basis.

Our country is in a favourable time for direct selling – people are increasingly embracing new technologies and buying goods over the Internet and so I know that this market will grow steadily. For me, the most interesting contribution of QNET is tourism. Despite economic crises, many people still want to go on holidays and they really do it. I appreciate the travel opportunities offered by the business but most of all, I appreciate QNET for the growth opportunities – by travelling, a person develops into a well-rounded business person and citizen of the world and there is nothing more important than that.

We shouldn’t also forget the importance of motivation. Behind the outstanding works of a successful person are the people and events that inspired him/her. In my case, it’s my family, travelling and reading interesting books. Each of us in QNET knows that we always have room to grow and it’s an incentive for us to work harder.

Finally, I want to say that your success depends on you. Tell yourself everyday: “I’ll make things better! I’ll work hard and succeed!”
