This weekend is the 2013 Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix which means our QNET sponsored Marussia F1 Team® are in one of our key rapidly-expanding areas of operation, the UAE.
Now you may recall that QNET via our regional office in Dubai has a close relationship with the Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre who we support as part of our billion hearts goal andRYTHM initiatives.
I think you can see where this is going… today the children, young people and staff at the Rashid Centre got all the low-down on the world of Formula 1™ racing from Marussia F1 Team® Drivers, Max Chilton and Jules Bianchi.
The two up-and-coming stars took a break to touch and inspire young hearts ahead of this weekend’s Grand Prix – Awe, thanks guys!
F1 has journeyed from Singapore to New Delhi and now to the Middle East for one of its favourite racing destinations – Abu Dhabi.
Words cannot describe the magnificent Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island, the boys are in for a treat.
The team tells us that Max has some experience of the track, having taken part in Free Practice 1 here last year in his role as Marussia F1 Team Reserve Driver while Jules had a similar opportunity with Force India last year.
The whole team effort will be focused on nailing 10th place in the Constructors’ Championship and continuing to put mileage on the team’s most recent car developments.
From all of us at QNET, good luck Marussia!
