QNET’s parent company in Hong Kong has done it again. For the fourth year straight, QI Hong Kong has won HR Asia’s ‘Best Company to Work for Award’. It is testament to QI Group’s practices, policies, and the investment in every person who makes up the Hong Kong team.
“We are so proud to be recognised for our HR efforts and we’re pleased to know that our HK employees appreciate what we’ve been doing, as reflected by our survey results”, said Boby Lam, HR & Administration Manager, QI Group, who received the Award on behalf of the HK office.
The QI Group team that joined Boby Lam at the award ceremony held on April 27, 2018, at the Harbour Grand Hotel, included Alfred Cheung (Senior Legal Counsel), Winnie So (Company Secretary), Jean-Luc Gustave (Acting Head of Strategy & Innovation), and representatives from IT, Communications, QNET Hong Kong Representative Office and HR & Administration Team from Hong Kong.
The Annual HR Asia Awards review company practices based on a survey structured into three categories: employee engagement, workplace culture, and advancement & development opportunities. This year’s result means QI Group finds itself amongst an elite group, comprised of AS Watson Group, British American Tobacco Asia Pacific Region Limited, and New World Development Company Limited — all these being companies that have won the award for the 4th year straight. The other winners this year include: Pfizer Corporation, AXA Hong Kong, KPMG China, and SAS Institute.
In his acceptance speech, Boby Lam said: “The award encourages us to do even better. We will continue to keep improving and keep providing our employees with the best possible work environment and tools to support their career growth.”
“I’d like to dedicate this award to everyone in our Hong Kong office. We couldn’t have done this without you!” said Boby Lam to close his speech.
