More than 500 people thronged the Zayeed Sports Centre in Abu Dhabi to witness the English Premier League Manchester derby between Manchester City and Manchester United at Etihad on Sunday.
Organised by Manchester City Football Club (MCFC), fans enjoyed the game, which was telecast live on a big screen with cheers and thunderous applause for the “Cityzens” as Sergio Aguero’s 63rd minute goal was enough to seal victory for Man City. It was Man City’s sixth win in their last seven league meetings against United, including four in a row for the first time since 1970.
The two major trophies won by Man City during the 2013/14 season, namely the Capital Cup and the Barclays Premier League Cup were both on show at the party. Then, yesterday the cups were displayed at QNET’s Dubai office under tight security.
As official direct selling partner, QNET also threw parties in Kuala Lumpur, Bali and Cairo for the Manchester derby. As the season progresses, IRs will not only enjoy Man City’s clash with top EPL Clubs in high definition, but will also have the opportunity to win Man City collectibles. Stay Tuned!!
