Prana’s Chef Jonny and His Vegetarian Cuisine Gain Widespread Fame in Koh Samui
On a Thai island that is rife with seafood restaurants and cuisines from around the world, and where dining is a lifestyle unto itself, Prana’s vegetarian restaurant, Amala, is gaining popularity among the islanders for its innovative creations and fresh take on vegetarian food. Two local publications have recently given excellent coverage to Chef Jonny and to Amala.
In the latest issue of Siam Map, Assistant General Manager, Wendy Phay, is interviewed about Prana’s hydroponic gardens, the positive feedback to the vegetarian menu, and the resort’s philosophy of making each guest feel completely at home.
In July’s edition of Wining & Dining, Chef Jonny shares about his fascinating well-travelled background, unconventional introduction to the culinary world, and the inspirations for his vegetarian creations.
