QNet Ltd has been recognised by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) as a Caring Company for 2010/2011. Although it is the fourth time that the company has received this distinguished award, it is the first time it has done so under the name QNet Ltd. This award is given to private companies operating in Hong Kong that demonstrate good corporate citizenship as exemplified by their continued efforts in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). QNet passed the three adjudicated scopes of ‘Caring for the Community’, ‘Caring for Employees’, and ‘Caring for the Environment’.
The Award ceremony was held on 19 April 2011 at the Star Hall & Rotunda, Kowloon Bay International Trade & Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong. QNet Chief Network Services Ms Malou Caluza, QNet Operations Development Manager Mr Joseph Lo, and QNet Senior Executive Ms Olivia Ho were in attendance as representatives from QNet Ltd.
“We are extremely proud to be recognised as a Caring Company for the first time under QNet ,” said Ms Malou. “It is a pleasure to be part of the elite group that consists of many prestigious multinational companies. QNet has always been dedicated to making a difference and giving back to the community, as exemplified in our company philosophy of RYTHM – or Raise Yourself To Help Mankind.”
Companies that have been given this recognition are encouraged to use the Caring Company logo in their promotional activities and materials to inform and assure their customers, employees and the public that they are good corporate citizens.
“Being recognised by the HKCSS for all of our dedicated effort is truly an honour,” Ms Caluza said. “We aim to continue to excel as a Caring Company for many more years to come!”
