Continuing its active support of Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre, QNET attended an exciting ‘Disabled But Able’ Sports Day for children with special needs. Hosted at the American University in Dubai under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, the event was attended by all the children that benefit from the quality education and therapy services provided by Rashid Centre.

The event highlighted the importance of sports not just for fitness but for the learning of important life skills such as resilience and team work. It also spread the strong message that disability is not a hindrance but a stepping stone to great success.

The regional general manager of QNET Middle East and North Africa Khaled Diab said “QNET strongly supports Rashid Centre’s initiatives in providing opportunities for children with special needs to be active and physically fit and healthy. This Sports Day held today at American University in Dubai gives them a platform to express their boundless energy and their innate talents in sports. All these children can benefit from the exercise and pure enjoyment of playing sports, letting their young active selves explore the outside world, teaching them the values of hard work and team effort.”

V Managing Director Pathman ‘Chief’ Senathirajah attended the fun event and received an award from His Highness Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum for QNET’s support of Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre’s Corporate Social Responsibility programmes for children.
