Welcome to part one of my five part series discussing skin types and how to optimise Physio Radiance for your skin.
In this series I will help you understand your skin because it’s absolutely necessary to make the right decision about a proper skin care routine suitable for your particular needs.
The type of your skin is largely genetically determined – meaning you are born with it; but your skin type can and does change over time – younger people are more likely than older people to have a normal skin type for example.
So, today we start with dry skin.
If your skin feels dehydrated, itchy, tight (especially after cleansing) and you experience few or no breakouts, it is considered dry.
In more extreme cases, dry skin lacks elasticity making it crack and extremely sensitive to the sun, wind and cold temperatures.
What you need to do
For dry skin, the key is to use less toner depending on just how dry your skin is.
Cleanse your face twice a day with Physio Radiance Comfort Emulsion Cleanser. Rinse with warm water and pat your skin dry.
Then, apply a reduced amount of Physio Radiance Remineralising Toning Lotion to a cotton facial pad. While too much can aggravate already dry skin, a reduced amount will help to remove dead cells from flaky skin.
Use Physio Radiance Extreme Anti-Oxidant Serum to add resilience and to rejuvenate your skin.
And finally apply a very light layer of Physio Radiance Enhancer Day & Night Fluid to hydrate and protect your skin from harsh external environmental conditions.
- Avoid using make-up that contains alcohol as alcohol-based based can dry skin even more.
Many QNET products support great skin. For dry skin, I suggest the following:
- Drink 4 to 5 litres of water alkalised using the HomePure Alkaline Stick to hydrate your skin from the inside out.
- Drink 1 tablespoon of Olé Olive Leave Extract 3 times a day to fortify skin with antioxidants.
- Add 1 or 2 sachets of FiberFit to a meal to improve detoxification and elimination of body waste.
