There is no greater joy than the joy of giving. Spirit of Giving – Pune. It’s the festive season in India with celebrations of all sorts in full swing. An overall vibe of positivity and joy fills the air. The true spirit of Diwali festivities lies in sharing the joy with those who are not so fortunate. To mark the spirit of the season, a group of QNET young entrepreneurs have come together to launch a nationwide program called ‘Spirit of Giving’ to help out their local communities in small ways.

Around 1500 QNET young entrepreneurs have pledged between USD 700 – USD 1,500 in 21 cities around India to bring cheer this festive season to 39 different causes which include orphanages, old age homes, disabled children and adults, lifesaving medical treatment, and educational support for children from low income families among others.

The most recent activity took place in Pune where more than 20 QNET entrepreneurs distributed groceries, toiletries, and blankets at the Madhurbhav Bliss (AJ Foundation) old age home. This was a small but significant gesture for the residents of the home, many of who have no one to call their own.

“The aim of the Spirit of Giving program is not to raise an enormous amount of money or write a large cheque and feel good about it. The amount of money we are spending may seem small compared to the large CSR projects being done by big companies. Our aim is to make a positive impact in our local communities by bringing together ordinary people and getting them involved in helping out in small ways through impactful action. We have all benefited in different degrees as entrepreneurs through the QNET business and we want to take this opportunity to give back and express our gratitude this festive season”, says Shipra Neeraj, who has been spearheading the Spirit of Giving program for the last four years.

At QNET, we follow the philosophy of Raise Yourself To Help Mankind (RYTHM) as our corporate mission statement. The underlying philosophy entails empowering people to realise their potential, so that they can further help with making a difference in their communities.

Trevor Kuna – our Global CEO said, “The initiative undertaken by our Independent Representatives in their individual capacity is truly encouraging. QNET’s underlying philosophy of RYTHM is the force that drives a lot of what we do. It is a reflection of our business, which is about empowering people to take control of their lives, so that they can, in turn, help empower their communities.”
