QNET Malaysia celebrated National Women’s Day by participating in the Global Women’s Trade Summit 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, and by showcasing our range of world class quality products that enable a healthy lifestyle.
The Summit attendees had the opportunity to learn more about Absolute Living — our campaign to encourage a holistic lifestyle that embraces a more positive and proactive approach to health and wellness. The QNET booth featured product samples, as well as live product demonstrations that were attended by many women who were keen to find out more about nurturing a healthy living lifestyle for themselves and their family.
Organised by the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry, the event drew about 1,000 participants from both the government and private sectors to celebrate women. The Global Women’s Trade Summit was themed ‘Women: Changing The Global Economy’, and included honouring women’s social, economic, cultural and political achievements.
The Summit was officiated by Prime Minister of Malaysia Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, who reiterated that it was his ambition to see women being equal partners and drivers of growth.
“To do that, even more so for men, we must challenge gender bias and inequality, campaign against violence, shape women’s advancement, celebrate women’s achievement and champion women’s rights for equal education,” said the Premier during a dialogue session.
As we march towards 2020, QNET wants to see everyone involved and playing their part, especially men to ‘Be Bold For Change’. Then and only then, as in the words of the Premier, men and women can be equal partners and help forge a better world. For when women succeed, we all triumph together.
