A ROYAL RETREAT AT COTTON CASTLE
In the land of the Crescent Moon, you can take a dip in the pristine pools of Pamukkale, Turkey. The surreal pools are filled with glass blue water making it such an exciting offer by the QVI Club and your golden ticket to cross your bucket list off visiting this place.
One can even float down these awe-inspiring immaculate white terrace of Turkey’s steep valley. This geographical location is a picturesque sight of dreamlike clear pools warmed by its mighty waterfall.
From afar these white terraces are perceived to look like a cotton castle which is actually the literal translation of Pamukkale in the local tongue of the area. These cotton castle pools are made up of mostly limestone which carries an abundant amount of health-boosting minerals in them. Taking a dip in these warm waters is both relaxing and overall good for skin health as a result of the popular trend that a lot of visitors do while coming here, covering themselves in the mud of these pools.
The absolute best thing about Pamukkale is the isolated location having minimal interference from man-made additions. With this, visitors are required to carry their own bathing gear while also being cautious as limestone rocks can be slippery making it recommended not to wear shoes.
These limestone pools aren’t the only tourist destination Pamukkale has to offer, while if you want to fulfil your adventure side, Hierapolis is well worth the visit. Once long ago a large city, Hierapolis now lies in ruins though still holds its glorious stone structure, especially with its restored amphitheatre.
Having nature’s hidden spa treatment, Pamukkale does not disappoint leaving you speechless every time with new memories. Use this World Tourism Day as an excuse to visit Pamukkale and bathe in its wonders.
